PARISH LEADERSHIP
PASTORAL COUNCIL.
This is a council that consists of the priest and elected lay persons who serve for 3 year terms. This council is responsible for making decisions regarding spiritual matters that affect the church parish.
Current members include: Rev. Marshall Boulet (Pastor and ex-officio), Deacon John Eaves (ex-officio), Ann Shirley, Paul Habetz, Shane Zaunbrecher, Nicholette Kinkelaar, Becky Tholkes. Trustees – Rena Price and Michael Guillory.
FINANCE COUNCIL.
This is a council that consists of the priest and appointed lay persons. This council is responsible for making decisions regarding financial matters of the church parish.
Current members include: Rev. Marshall Boulet, Rev. Mr. John H. Eaves, Louise McClelland, Henrietta Buller, Todd Bertrand, and Darrell Bruchhaus.
SERVICE
ALTAR SOCIETY.
This ministry is for women who seek to be of service to the priest and to the entire congregation by preparing the Church for Eucharistic celebrations. This ministry also provides a means for Catholic women to engage in fellowship activities which strengthen and uplift them.
Current president is Kimberly Carbalan.
SONS OF ST. PAUL.
This ministry is for men who seek to be of service to the priest and to the congregation. This ministry takes primary responsibility for the upkeep of the church. It also provides a means for Catholic men to engage in fellowship activities which strengthen and uplift them.
Current president is Dwight Bertrand.
LITURGICAL MINISTRIES
LITURGICAL COMMITTEE. This committee oversees and coordinates the other various liturgical ministries.
ALTAR SERVERS.
Those in this ministry assist the priest at mass. Youth are especially invited to participate in this ministry. Adults are needed to coordinate a schedule and oversee the preparation before mass.
INTRODUCERS.
Those in this ministry will make an announcement before each mass welcoming the parishioners and visitors to our church and informing them of upcoming events.
Ministry coordinator is Marie Istre.
LECTORS.
This ministry is responsible for reading the readings, responsorial psalms, and the petitions during mass

EUCHARISTIC LAY MINISTERS.
This is a ministry of lay persons who assist the priest at mass during the distribution of communion.
Ministry coordinator is Marie Istre.
USHERS.
This ministry is responsible for seating members of the congregation, attending to any emergency needs of the congregation, collecting the offertory, and distributing bulletins after mass.
CHOIR.
This ministry is responsible for providing music for our liturgical celebrations.
Ministry coordinators are Marilyn Dewees and David & Lorraine Bertrand.
EDUCATION
CCD.
Catholic catechesis for school-aged children. Teachers are always needed for this ministry. This ministry is for those with a gift of relating to the young and with a desire to pass on their Catholic faith.
DRE is Lezlie H. LaFosse.
RCIA.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. This ministry reaches out to non-Catholic persons who desire to know more about the Catholic Church and the fullness of its teachings. This ministry requires the participation of parishioners in presenting the doctrines of the Catholic faith and in sponsoring catechumens.
RCIA coordinators are Ronnie and Brenda Fuselier.
CATHOLIC ADULT ENRICHMENT PROGRAM/ADULT CATECHISM
This ministry is concerned with the continuing spiritual growth of Catholic adults. Its purpose is to provide a forum wherein doctrines of the Church can be explained and discussed. The participation of parishioners is needed to organize the programs, present the programs, and plan fellowship following the programs.
Program coordinators are Staci Thibodeaux & Fr. Marshall Boulet.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH.
A program for children who are at least 3 years of age and who are not yet preparing for First Communion. Children’s Church is currently held from October-May during 10 a.m. mass on Sunday mornings.
Program coordinator is Ruby Kinkelaar.
EVANGELIZATION
EVANGELIZATION TEAM.
This team is engaged in the activity of bringing the message of Christ to others and sharing the joy of our Catholic faith. It is involved in activities within our church which are concerned with making parishioners and visitors feel welcome and encouraging all current parishioners to take a more active role in our church. Coordinator is Frieda Shuff.
PRISON MINISTRY. (This ministry shares the gospel of Jesus Christ with those in prison as they visit Allen Correctional Center on a regular basis). Coordinators – Mike & Bonnie Richard.
WELCOME HOME COMMITTEE. This ministry is responsible for locating and inviting inactive Catholics to return to the sacramental life of the Catholic church and mentoring returning Catholics as they re-enter the Church.
GREETERS.
This ministry involves having persons stationed at the doors of Church to welcome parishioners and visitors to our weekend masses. This ministry is also concerned with obtaining the names and addresses of visitors who would like to know more about the Catholic faith and/or St. Paul parish. This ministry provides a visible example of the need to welcome each other into God’s house.
TAPE MINISTRY.
This ministry is responsible for taping the mass so that it can be shared with shut-ins and the sick. Ministry coordinators are Mike & Bonnie Richard.
VOCATIONS CROSS MINISTRY.
The vocation cross is given to individuals and families on a rotating basis in order to have the parishioners pray for and encourage vocations.

SPIRITUAL
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION.
This ministry is devoted to the adoration of the Eucharist. At the present time, Eucharistic adoration only takes place on Mondays. If enough people are willing to spend 1 hour with our Lord in Eucharistic adoration, we could eventually make this a perpetual adoration.
Program coordinator is Louise McClelland.
PRAYER ANGELS.
The primary purpose of this ministry is to pray for the youth during CCD classes.
Program coordinator is Bonnie Richard.
PRAYER LINE.
This ministry requires the participation of people who are willing and able to offer prayer in time of need. The participants in this ministry must be willing begin praying for the need whenever the need arises.
Program coordinator is Frieda Shuff.
COMMUNITY PRAYER.
The parish currently offers two occasions during the week when parishioners can come together to pray, Tuesday mornings for the rosary and Thursday evenings for Vespers. All parishioners are encouraged to join in these prayers.

FOLLOW ME PROGRAM.
This ministry is involved in small group bible study which focuses primarily on the Sunday readings. Persons are needed to lead the small groups and to participate in the small groups.
Program coordinator is Ruby Kinkelaar.
YOUTH GROUP/JR. NEWMAN CLUB
This ministry is for youth aged junior high to high school who are seeking an outlet for fellowship and spiritual growth.Lezlie Lafosse is the coordinator. The Jr. Newman Club is for youth grades 9-12. Coordinators are Wendell and Julia Bertrand.
ST. PAUL RETREAT TEAM.
This ministry puts on retreats for youth throughout the parish. Lettie Marcantel is the coorindator.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
HELPING HANDS.
This ministry reaches out to the needy in our area. They deliver food and clothing when needed and serve as a referral source that puts people in touch with agencies that can assist them.
Program coordinator is Lorma Rider.
THE CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE.
This ministry reaches out to the underprivileged children and elderly in our community at Christmas time. A committee of parishioners is needed to compile the names of those in need, to oversee the selection of names by parishioners and the return of gifts, and to distribute the gifts prior to Christmas.
Program coordinator is Staci Thibodeaux in conjunction with the Evangelization Team.
BEREAVEMENT COMMITTEE
This ministry reaches out to families during a time of loss of a loved one by performing bereavement services and being available at these times of need.
Program coordinator is Henrietta Buller.
NURSING HOME VISITATIONS This ministry coordinates nursing home visits to reach out to those in nursing homes and to pray the rosary with them.
