We will have a Parish Lenten Mission the nights of March 16, 17, and 18th here in our church. We will have Mass each night followed by a presentation given by Father Boulet. The theme for the mission is “The Precious Gifts of the Church and the Sacraments.”
MARRIED COUPLES-The next Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekends are March 26-28 in Eunice and April 23-25 in Baton Rouge. For information you may call 1-800-586-5469.
The Ladies’ Altar Society will be making and selling coconut cream sweet dough pies March 29-30; we are taking orders now. You may call Barbara Fuselier with your order (584-2678). If you would like to help on the 29th or 30th, please call Barbara or the Church Office.

ALTAR SOCIETY DUES ($5) ARE NOW BEING COLLECTED. PLEASE COME BY THE CHURCH OFFICE TO DO SO OR PAY THE REPRESENTATIVE IN THE FOYER OF CHURCH FOLLOWING MASS.
SAFE ENVIRONMENT RECERTIFICATION: The single lesson for year 2009-2010 is now posted on the diocesan website (lcdiocese.org). It is recommended that you go ahead and complete this annual requirement now, but no later than December 1. The church office has mailed you your login and password. This annual recertification is required for all CCD teachers, VBS teachers and volunteers — anyone who has contact with our young people.

Please be reminded that we have Memorial Crosses for sale now until next October. They are $10 each and can be purchased by filling out one of the forms in the foyer and placing your money and the form in the collection basket. A cross may be “in honor” of someone living or “in memoriam” of someone deceased.
